Two heads of Iranian intelligence services  have been assassinated barely 3 days after the President Ebrahim Raisi died in a fatal helicopter crash alongside his foreign minister and a couple of other top government officials on Sunday.

The chief of Iranian Police, Ahmad-Reza Radan, was found dead with 7 bullets buried in his body.

Radan’s death comes after the chief of the country’s intelligence service of Lorestan Province in Iran was also assassinated.

The development has set tongues wagging with many wondering if the plane crash was actually an accident or part of a widespread assassination attempt targeting the country’s top security and government officials.
