Radical extremist group, Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists have confirmed the abduction of two soldiers and a Yobe State liaison officer.

Periscope International recalls that that the terrorists had kidnapped the quartet on the Damaturu/Maiduguri highway, two of whom are Nigerian soldiers.

To confirm that the abducted personnel were in their custody, the insurgents  have released the identity cards of their abductees online.

Two of the cards displayed online by the terrorists belong to Mai Lalle, one for Mustapha while the other belongs to Lpcl Oyediran Adedotun of the Nigeria Army.

The ID card of the fourth abductee was not sighted from the list of the cards provided by the insurgents.

The two military personnel were heading to Kano from Maiduguri on a pass permit, while Mai Lalle and Mustapaha were on their way to Maiduguri.
