Breaking: bandit terrorists invade Emir of Kagara’s Palace
The palace of the Emir of Kagara in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, was on Tuesday evening invaded by bandit terrorists.
A palace source confirmed that the Emir, Alhaji Ahmadu Attahiru was however absent when the gunmen struck.
According to the source who preferred not to be named because he was authorized to speak on the incident, the Emir was attending a programme in Minna at the time of the attack.
“I cannot give you the details now. The people who called this evening are no longer reachable again. The network in Kagara has been disconnected since Friday.
“I believe even those who called went to the bush to access network But it is true that the palace of Emir of Kagara was attacked,” the source added.
The Niger State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, could not be reached star the time of filing this report.
It was gathered that the mobile network Service in Kagara has been disconnected since last Friday.
Alhaji Ahmadu Attahiru became Emir early this year following the death of Alhaji Salihu Tanko, his predecessor.
Periscope International recalls that the terrorists had earlier invaded a school in Kagara where they abducted many students.
