Breaking: Ex-Senate President, Ken Nnamani’s wife is dead
Mrs Jane Nnamani, the wife of Nigeria’s former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, is dead.
She reportedly died on Thursday, at the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu, where she had gone for minor surgery.
A family source disclosed that her death is currently brewing crisis within the Nnamani family.
The source explained that the ex-Senate President is currently overseas for medical treatment and is unaware of his wife’s death as of the time of filing this report.
It was also gathered that her children overseas had yet to be informed about their mother’s death and even the reason for her going to the hospital for surgery.
Even her last daughter, who is in Enugu, did not know that her mother had health challenges until she was declared dead.
The deceased mother of four was said to have gone to the hospital for the surgery along with her driver and house help without informing her daughter.
“That’s why despite her death, nobody in the family can announce it until her husband sees her body.
“Again, none of her male children is in the country and the last daughter who is in Enugu doesn’t know how to go about it,” the source told newsmen on Monday.
The late Mrs Nnamani was a member of the Governing Council of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu, prior to her death.
She was in her sixties and also a final-year doctoral student of Business Management at ESUT.
