Dr Alimi Mustapha, the Medical Director of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos, has passed away.
Although details surrounding his death remain undisclosed at the time of this report, a reliable anonymous family source confirmed his demise.
Mustapha, who assumed office as Medical Director eight years ago, was due for retirement in July.

He was known for his contributions to orthopaedic medicine in Nigeria, leading the hospital in providing specialized care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
The hospital management is yet to release an official statement regarding his passing.
