Breaking: Reps candidate dies few days to national assembly elections
Alhaji Kamilu Isa, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate for House of Representatives, Wudil/Garko Constituency of Kano State, is dead.
The Reps hopeful died after a brief illness barely 100 hours to the elections slated for this Saturday.
The deceased was a former Assistant Comptroller General of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
In a condolence message to his family,
Confirming the deceased’s death in a statement, the presidential candidate of the NNPP, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, described his passing as a huge vacuum that cannot be filled.
According to Kwankwaso, the late politician had dedicated his time, wealth and energy to the success of the party and his immediate community.
He said, “I am saddened by the loss of Hon. Kamilu Ado Isah, the NNPP House of Representatives Candidate for Wudil/Garko constituency.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace.
“My condolence to his family, friends and the NNPP Kano Chapter,” he said.
Kwankwaso also prayed God Almighty to forgive the sins of the deceased, who has been buried according to Islamic rites, and grant him eternal rest.
