Couple seeks help to discharge triplets from Ebonyi hospital.

The Family of Mr and Mrs Sylvanus Nwori of Ebonyi is  soliciting  for financial assistance from the general public to offset the hospital bills of their three babies.

In an interview with Journalists in Abakaliki on Saturday, Nwori an Indigene of Ekebeligwe Ishieke in Ebonyi LGA of Ebonyi described the birth of the triplets as a mixture of joy and sadness but demanded for help to enable them pay the hospital bills.

The Family is still held up at the Mile Four Hospital, Abakaliki due to their inability to offset the accrued hospital bills.

“It is a bundle of sadness for the burden of taking care of an expanded family of eleven now.

“My wife put to bed since June 17, we could not go home due to the huge bill.

“God has blessed us with the triplet, two boys and one girl.

“With the three now, we have a total of nine kids.

“It is a thing of joy with anxiety; it has not been easy with the little income, but I still thank God for everything.

“I am a peasant farmer, as well as my wife; my appealing to the public is to enable us go home from the hospital.

“We need a total of N200, 000 for the bill. I have been receiving gifts like wrappers, diapers, soap, tissue, baby creams and foods as well as cash.

“Initially, I was asking God to give us seven kid but now, it has almost doubled, making it nine, seven girls and two boys. Its not by my power but God, ” Nwari added.

The sobering father said it has been difficult for him to take care of the kids.

“I believe in God and with Him all things are possible,” Nwori said.

Also speaking, the mother of the triplets, Nkechi expressed her joy and appealed to kindhearted Nigerians to assist them to clear their hospital bills.

“There is nothing God cannot do. He has blessed our family with these babies, and I know He will surely take care of them.

“Some people have visited us with a lot of gifts, including cash, toiletries and foods, I am so grateful to them,” she added.
