Dakas says Rufus Bature-led APC will galvanize party into 2023 victory
Prof Dakas CJ Dakas, SAN, a foremost contender for the Plateau State governorship position in the 2023 gubernatorial election, has expressed confidence in the newly constituted Plateau State executive council of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Dakas, who stated this on Monday in a congratulatory message to the new officials of the party, noted that the emergence of the entire state executive council of the party 100% through consensus was a practical show of maturity and sincere sacrifice on the side of all party faithfuls.
According to the erudite academic, lawyer and philanthropist, the new Plateau State APC, led by Hon Rufus Bature, who is a former Secretary to the State Government, a very experienced and matured politician, and comprising other men and women of proven undiluted party loyalty and impeccable character, inspires confidence in their ability to steer the party in the direction of success.
“On behalf of my family, friends and close associates, I heartily congratulate the APC family on the Plateau and indeed Nigeria for its immeasurable maturity shown at the State congress last Saturday, which saw to the emergence of a State Executive Council ably led by Hon. Chief Rufus Bature as the new Chairman of the team.
“It is indeed a practical show of maturity and sincere sacrifice on the side of all party faithfuls that the election went 100% through consensus. This has shown that the APC family is truly matured enough for continuous peace and progress.
“I am sincerely confident of the caliber of members elected to serve the party and shall continue to pray for them to succeed,” Dakas said.
While wishing the party officials and the entire APC family success and a fruitful tenure as they take on the responsibility of their individual and collective offices for the greater good of the party and Plateau State as a whole, Prof Dakas expressed confidence in their collective ability to galvanize the party into unhindered victory come 2023 and beyond.
