Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man and the chairman of Reliance Industries, has acquired a new Boeing 737 MAX 9 private aircraft worth $120m.

This addition expands Ambani’s impressive fleet of private aircraft, which already includes nine other jets and helicopters.

Ambani’s buying of the ultra-long-range jet is the first time that this aircraft is privately owned in India.

The aircraft underwent extensive cabin modifications in Switzerland before its delivery to Delhi.
