The presidential candidate of Action Alliance (AA), Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, rtd.,has said that the prevailing insurgency bedeviling Nigeria is man made.
Al-Mustapha disclosed this during an interview on Trust TV’s flagship program, Daily Politics, monitored on Tuesday.
The presidential hopeful said,”The insurgency in Nigeria is man made, if you go into the causes, if you go into the actors and the statements taken from them, and then if you go into their activities, supplies of logistics like weapons, money and the indoctrination.
“I have the privilege, unfortunately or fortunately, I was imprisoned with some of them. I didn’t run away from them, I didn’t keep them aside, for the interest of my country I needed to know.
“We had arguments with some of them on the role they played, among them were highly educated ones. I saw masters degree holders among them so I interrogated most of them.
“If you want to solve the problem, you need to look at data that ordinary eyes don’t see.
“Look at the casualties from the side of security personnel, the military, paramilitary and police, the communities.
“Whether it was understood on time is another thing, whether the actors were understood, whether who are sponsoring them were known earlier or not, the records are there.”
Al-Mustapha said he had x-rayed Nigeria’s problems, stressing that he was ready to face them if elected president on February 25.
