‘Jesus of Kenya’ cries out over plans to crucify him on Good Friday
Kenya’s self-proclaimed Jesus Christ of Bungoma (yesu wa Tongaren) has cried over plans to crucify him on Good Friday, claiming that his life is in danger.
He raised the alarm following the decision of the people of his community that they must crucify him the same way Jesus Christ was crucified on Good Friday.

The people have assured him that if he is truly Jesus Christ, he will resurrect on the third day and go to heaven after the crucifixion and urged him not to worry at all.
However, scared stiff by the serious death threat from his community, he has since reported the matter to the police for protection and to save his life.
