Kannywood actress, Zainab Booth, dies at 61
Zainab Booth, a veteran Kannywood actress,is dead.
Family sources said she died on Thursday in Kano after a brief illness.
Her son, Amude Booth, said his mother died at the age of 61.

Also confirming her demise, Ali Nuhu, a veteran Kannywood actor, said the industry has lost Booth without giving further details.
Zainab Booth has a Fulani mother and a Scottish father and is the mother of actress Maryam Booth.
Zainab is an old Hausa film actress known for her role starring as a mother.
Sources said that the deceased actress had once underwent a brain surgery.
Family sources said that the funeral prayer for the deceased will take place at her residence in Kano today.
