Katsina APC governorship candidate drops running mate, unveils new one

The All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate for Jatsina State in the 2023 general elections,Dikko Radda, has unveiled Faruk Joɓe as his new running mate.

Ahmed Abdulkadir, the chairman, Gwagware Media Organization, who announced this in a statement issued on Thursday explained that Jobe was nominated by Radda to replace the former running mate, Yusuf Musawa, who had voluntarily withdrawn his earlier nomination.

Abdulkadir added that Musawa withdrew from the race after wide consultations with relevant stakeholders.

Periscope International reports that Joɓe is currently Katsina State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.

Joɓe, who hails from Ƙanƙara, Funtua Senatorial District of the state, had contested for governor during the governorship primary election but lost to Radda.
