The convict was earlier arraigned by the Makurdi Zonal Command of the EFCC sometime between July and September, 2020.

He was said to have committed the offense in Makurdi, Benue State by transferring airtime in the aggregate sum of N211,300 from Access Bank Account No. 3024934975 belonging to one Danjuma Bello to his Airtel line No. 08166413766.

According to the prosecution, Gbande allegedly used an unauthorized access device to commit the crime.
