Man divorces wife because she’s too beautiful.
A 44-year-old Zimbabwean man, Arnold Masuka, has prayed the court to dissolve the marriage between him and his 30-year-old wife, Hilda Meleya, because she’s too beautiful.
Masuka told the court that he was divorcing his wife because her beauty was giving him perpetual fear and sleepless nights.
The petitioner said the situation had become so bad that he was always afraid of leaving her alone at home anytime as he feared she would be snatched by other men.
He also told the court that whenever he went to work he would not concentrate while in office because he would never cease thinking about his beautiful jewel.
According to the Zimbabwe Live, the presiding judge, Justice Henry Chizvidzo, expressed shock at Masuka’s ‘bizarre’ claims, saying it was his first time of handling such a case.
