A lady from Benue State, identified as Margret Atayi, who was declared missing since Friday, 17th May, 2024, has been found dead in Abuja.
The corpse of Margaret, an Idoma girl from Ugbokolo, Okpokwu LGA of Benue State, was discovered in the late hours of Monday.
She was said to have been last seen around City College of Education, Abacha Road, Mararaba, near Abuja at about 3 pm on Friday, 17th May, 2024.
Announcing her death through her post on Idoma Darlings wall, her sister, Stella Ameh appreciated all those who committed their resources in search of the deceased.
The cause of her death was still unknown as of the time of filing this report, but most people are of the opinion that it could not be unconnected with ritual killing.
It would be recalled that another Benue girl, Kadoon Iornumbe was also found dead with her body dumped along Mpape Junction, Abuja, in the early hours of 3rd May, 2024.
Ritual killings, especially by Yahoo Boys, are fast growing in Nigeria.
The police command in the FCT had yet to officially react to latest incident as of the time of filing this report.
