NCS arrests man with 444 wraps of suspected cocaine at Airport
The Nigeria Customs Service, FCT Area Command, says it has intercepted a passenger at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja with 444 wraps of white substance, weighing 9.9kgs suspected to be cocaine.
According to Comptroller Nanbyen Patience Burromvyat, the Command’s Area Controller, the suspect was identified as Maduabuchi Chinedu.
He was apprehended on Nov 24th by its operatives after cross-examination at the airport.
The suspect was said to have arrived in Abuja from Brazil via Addis Ababa.
The Command further said that the suspect has been handed over to Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Command for further investigation.
