The Nigeria Labour Congress under the leadership of Comrade Ayuba Wabba has kicked against the proposed hike in the price of fuel by the Federal Government.
According to Mr Wabba, there is a plan by Governor Nasir El-Rufai-led committee to recommend an increment in fuel price from N168 per litre to between N380 and N408.
He accused the government of a deliberate plan to plunge more Nigerians into poverty.
The NLC has also threatened a nationwide strike if any hike in the price of petrol is announced.
