Police arrest 3 men for allegedly possessing N17m worth of new naira notes
The police command in Kebbi state has arrested three persons for being in possession of N17m worth of new naira notes.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Kontagora, who announced this white parading the suspects on Tuesday, said the suspects were arrested at Warrah Motor Park in Warrah area of the state.
He said that the suspects were arrested with the help of members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
The police boss listed the suspects as Faruku Zubairu, Ibrahim Musa and Salisu Mohammed.
According to Kontagora, the suspects hail from Gungun Tawaye and Chupamini villages in Ngaski local government area of the state.
