Security operatives burst ‘yahoo school,’ arrest owner, 150 students

Troops of 3 Battalion of the Nigerian Army, Effurun, Delta state, have bursted Hustle Kingdom School, a cybercrime training network, and arrested about 150 students.

Security sources said that the breakthrough was sequel to credible intelligence reports that they received from the community.

The internet fraud ‘school’, also known as ‘yahoo yahoo’ in local parlance, is located within the Army Estate in the area.

They were said to have used the army estate, a highbrow residence for retired military officers and civilians, as a cover to perpetrate the crime.

Confirming the incident, Bright Edafe, the police command spokesperson in the state, said the suspects would soon be paraded.

He said that the suspects were handed over by the military to the police for prosecution following their arrest.

“It’s confirmed. I will parade them when I get to Asaba,” he said.
