VP Shettima decorates new Customs boss Adeniyi
Vice President Kashim Shettima on Monday decorated Mr Adewale Adeniyi, the Acting Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Adeniyi’s appointment as the acting Comptroller-General of Customs was announced by President Bola Tinubu on June 19, 2023, alongside other newly appointed Heads of Security Services.
His appointment was announced while he was attending the World Customs Organization (WCO) conference in Brussels, Belgium.
Vice President Shettima had recently performed a similar decoration ceremony at the Presidential Villa, where he bestowed the new rank upon Kayode Egbetokun, the Acting Inspector-General of Police.
Tinubu is expected back in the country this week from London where he proceeded to after attending a summit in Paris.
