Nigeria’s largest airline by fleet size, Air Peace, is preparing a major shift in its regional operations as it targets deeper expansion across Africa by early 2026.
The Lagos-based carrier, founded and led by Allen Onyema, says it will move all regional flights from night-time to daytime operations.
It explained in a statement that the change aimed at improving passenger convenience, reliability, and connections across its growing network.
The new schedule is expected to take effect on Feb. 2, 2026, marking a key operational adjustment.
Air Peace said the move will reduce disruptions and allow for smoother connections between domestic, regional, and long-haul routes through its Lagos hub.
As part of its expansion plans, the airline intends to add new Africa-to-Africa routes before the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Proposed destinations include Douala, Libreville, Kinshasa, Conakry, Bamako, and Johannesburg, extending its reach across West, Central, and Southern Africa.
