6 months after husband’s death, widow, 3 children killed in domestic fire
A family of four comprising a widow identified as Emilia Philips and her three children have all perished.
The entire family died in Kaduna in a fire incident at the family’s house.
According to a family source who announced the tragedy on social media on Tuesday, the widow and her children were burnt to death in their sleep.
Incidentally, the source said that Emilia’s demise comes barely six months after her husband’s death.
Sunday Philip, the family head had reportedly slumped and died at his home in August 2021.
The Police Command in Kaduna State and officials of the state fire service could not be immediately reached to comment on the incident prior to filing this report.
