Joshua Iginla: Unveiling the cleric with forensic accurate prophecies

By Mark Longyen

He was born to Muslim parents, his father a soldier from Ekiti State, South Western Nigeria, but he converted to Christianity at a very young age, after an encounter with a strange woman who preached the gospel to him in Jos, Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria.

Upon answering the calling to ministry, he first settled in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti, his home state, but later relocated to Ibadan and then from there to Abuja as directed by God.

He borrowed transport fare from someone in order to transport himself from Ibadan to Abuja with just a handbag containing a few personal valuables and squatted with someone for sometime.

He later started his now mega church in Abuja in 2006, with a paltry seventy thousand naira (N70,000) only, which was given to him by a fellow cleric.

That is the summary of the fascinating story of Prophet Joshua Iginla, the fiery General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly Church, with headquarters in Abuja.

The year 2023 started with palpable fear and anxiety as Nigerians were eager to know what the year had in store for them, especially ahead of the general elections.

These trepidations were further heightened by heart-quacking predictions from notable clerics, who churned out diverse prophecies on why the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, would not win the election.

However, one notable voice that stood out like a voice in the wilderness insisting that Tinubu would win the election, as revealed by God, was that of Prophet Joshua Iginla.

During the Church’s Crossover Service held on December 31, 2022, which is available on YouTube, Iginla declared that God revealed to him that Tinubu would emerge as the next President of Nigeria because that was the will of God, stressing that there was nothing anybody could do to stop him.

And it came to pass as he had accurately predicted!

He had said: “God said something to me that is very deep. I know that many of you here would not like to hear it.

“I saw the most criticized and hated candidate emerging winner under the permissive will of God.

“The man called Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a factor in the equation and you can not remove him and you cannot push him aside.

“You cannot drive him backward or push him aside, except God pulls him out of the equation.

“You cannot remove him by human means. If you push him aside, you will know that a factor has been removed from the equation, the only thing that can move him is God.

“Only God stops him. I’m not speaking in favor of anybody but I’m saying what I’ve seen and will leave the rest for God.”

It is noteworthy that this was when many pastors were prophesying something else ahead of the election.

However, Joshua Iginla, being a cleric with an undiluted forensic prophetic mantle, was the lone voice in the wilderness that gave the most accurate prophecy.

No doubt, the road to victory for Tinubu in the just concluded 2023 election was tarred with twists and turns. It was a journey filled with betrayals from loyalists.

At a point, his victory looked like a mirage but Prophet Iginla’s message kept resounding clearly that Tinubu was the major factor in the equation.

Prophet Iginla had also prophesied that Rivers State Gov Nyesom Wike would be a major factor to reckon with ahead of the election.

Wike’s name ricocheted audibly as the Tinubu won the election in Rivers in what many have ascribed to Wike’s impact.

The cleric had also noted that Wike would go on to play a major role in deciding Nigeria’s destiny.

“Wike’s political destiny is not yet over; he will play a major political role in the destiny of this country, the star is on his head somehow.

“He should however watch over his health too and avoid being poisoned. Like I said, Wike is a factor,” he said.

Wike, who is from the main opposition PDP, was to later become the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory in Tinubu’s ruling APC after leaving office as governor.

Iginla’s  prophetic warnings concerning Kaduna, Benue, Plateau, Enugu, Abia and Cross River states also came to pass.

He had warned that the then ruling parties in those states should be prepared for surprises from the opposition parties and not be over confident.

He had also accurately prophesied that the ruling parties in Rivers and Lagos would retain their seats.

On former CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele, Prophet Iginla prophesied that he saw hard times coming to him and admonished him to pray hard.

The inglorious exit, shameful arrest, detention and probe of the CBN under Emefiele is further proof of Iginla’s forensic accurate prophesies.

Prophet Iginla further accurately predicted the wave of military coups, which have swept across Africa in 2023.

Iginla had said: “I see military interventions in most African counties between now and 2028.’’

“In Gabon, it will occur around August 2023, I saw coup in Niger Republic, Gabon, among others in 2023.”

Previously on March 9, 2014, Prophet Joshua Iginla had also accurately predicted the winner of the 2014 World Cup, the exit of former President of Nigeria, Obasanjo from his party, PDP, Boko Haram attacks in Cameroon, bomb attacks by Boko Haram female bombers, attack on INEC office and the  Ebola virus, among others.

Prophet Iginla, who is currently one of the richest and most influential pastors in Nigeria, with a multimillion dollar net worth, owns a multibillion naira private jet.

He is also renowned for his philanthropic donation of cars, houses, money and foodstuff, to the rich, the poor and the needy alike, as he is led by the spirit of God.

Iginla has been giving out money running into several millions of naira to the aged, widows, orphanages and scholarships to orphans from nursery school to university.

For instance, in 2015, Iginla gifted 18 cars and millions of naira as birthday gifts to people to celebrate his birthday.

In 2016, he also gave out 32 cars, including 16 SUVs, as a gesture of generosity to mark his birthday.

That year, six Nollywood actors and actresses got Hummer Jeep 3 series, Mercedes G-Wagon and Mercedes CLS 550.

They included renowned actors like Jide Kosoko, Francis Duru, Alex Usifo, Ngozi Osondu, Thelma Nwosu and Sunday Omobolanle.

Iginla, who has almost 1000 widows and orphans he caters for, also gifted power generators and cash gifts to many artisans, while widows got deep freezers, rice and cash gifts ranging from N150,000 to N1.5 million.

For instance, Treasure Orphanage Foundation, Nyanya; Divine Wound Orphanage, Kubwa; and Christ Home Foundation, Kuje, got N1.5 million each and bags of rice, while some orphans in the homes were awarded scholarships from nursery to university.

Iginla explained: “It doesn’t matter to me if I trek home as I have given even the car that I personally drive.

“I can only drive one car and live in one house at a time. This understanding is what has taught me that when I die, others will inherit my assets.

“The beauty of life is not in its duration but in its donation. I have not seen some of the beneficiaries before in my life or spoken to them.

I’m seeing many of them for the first time today. I am seeing Jide Kosoko for the first time,” he said.

Iginla also said he gave cars to the Nollywood actors because many of them were poor but people erroneously thought they were rich.

According to him, the fruit of the Nollywood artistes were being reaped by pirates and challenged government to do something to arrest it.

“The Nollywood actors and actresses are our ambassadors; they have projected the image of this country positively,” he said.

There is no denying the fact that Prophet Joshua Iginla, of the “Ororo on my head, money in my hands, and speed on my legs” fame, has become an accurate, fearless and unshakeable oracle of God.

On many occasions, many people from home and abroad flock to his  multibillion naira church to physically attend special services like the yearly Crossover Service on December 31, his birthday celebration on May 21, and the church’s anniversary and its yearly international conference.

Born on 21 May 1969, Iginla is a Nigerian prophet, preacher, teacher televangelist, founder of Champions Television and Champions Royal Assembly, a megachurch with branches in Nigeria and abroad and an 80,000-seat capacity located in its headquarters in Kubwa, Abuja.

Prophet Iginla, who is very close to the  presidents and prime ministers of many countries, is married to a South African woman, Prophetess Stella Iginla, who is the Vice President of Champions Church worldwide, and incidentally shares the same birthday with him. The marriage is blessed with children.
