Gov. Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau says the state government will deploy technology and other modern apparatuses to tackle insecurity in the state.

The governor made this known at a media parley on Friday in Jos.
Acknowledging that insecurity had remained a big challenge faced by his  administration in the last one year, the governor thanked the Federal Government for supporting the state government’s  efforts in handling the situation.
He explained that his government had trained over 600 personnel of the state’s  security outfit, Operation Rainbow, to support  conventional security outfits in the area of intelligence gathering.
”Insecurity has been one of the major challenges staring  us in the face, but we have rejigged our security architecture and I really thank President Bola Tinubu for the support.
”We can say that through our efforts, we now have relative peace, but it is not yet uhuru.
”We have rejigged Operation Rainbow and recruited 600 personnel to add to existing personnel
”We will leverage  technology to improve  our security system  in order to secure  lives and property ,” he said.
Mutfwang promised continuous support for security agencies  in their efforts toward tackling insecurity in the state.(NAN)
