The Board of Trustees of the Northern Christian Religious Leaders Assembly, Nigeria (NOCRELA) has announced the appointment of former Minister of Women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen as its Grand Grand Matron, and Prof. Suleiman Bogoro as its Grand Patron.
The announcement is contained in a statement jointly signed by Archbishop John Praise, NOCRELA National Chairman, and Rev. Simon Dolly, General Secretary, in Abuja on Tuesday.
Bogoro, the immediate past Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), and Tallen, have both accepted the appointmentsTallen as Grand Matron will offer motherly counsel, advocate for women and youth within the Body of Christ, and promote reconciliation, peace, and national unity.As Grand Patron, Bogoro will provide fatherly wisdom, spiritual guidance, and moral oversight to strengthen the Assembly’s mission to uphold peace, justice, and righteousness across Northern Nigeria.
