L-F: Fintiri, Wike.
By Abdul Hassan
Gov Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa and Chairman of the forthcoming Ibadan PDP National Convention Committee, has warned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Nyesome Wike, against acts which he described as embarrassing to himself and the PDP.
The governor was responding to recent comments and demands from the former Rivers State Governor and his allies, ahead of the convention.
Fintiri vowed that no faction would derail the party’s upcoming convention holding in the Oyo State capital.
According to Fintiri, the party comes before personal relationships.
The governor stressed that disputes within the PDP should be resolved internally, not in the media.
“I will not place our relationships above this party.
“Let us not take all our matters to the media.
“It is becoming too embarrassing.
”If you are a party man, you settle issues within the party.
“We will not allow indiscipline and blackmail to derail this process,” he said.
