The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the full timetable for its congresses and National Convention ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the schedule issued by the APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, notices for Ward and Local Government Congresses will be issued on February 2, 2026, while the sale and submission of forms will take place from February 4 to February 9, 2026.
Ward Congresses are scheduled for February 18, 2026, followed by Local Government Congresses on February 20, 2026.
Appeals arising from the Ward and Local Government Congresses will be handled between February 21 and February 22, 2026.
State Congresses will hold on March 7, 2026, while Zonal Congresses across the six geopolitical zones are slated for March 21, 2026.
The process will conclude with the APC National Convention scheduled to hold from March 25 to March 28, 2026, marking the completion of the party’s internal elections ahead of 2027.
