American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has claimed that she doesn’t feel she’s ever truly been loved even after four failed marriages.
Jennifer who opened up about her love life in a recent interview with Howard Stern when asked if she’s ever been genuinely loved, replied, “No.”
She went on to say that while she’s experienced loving someone deeply, she realized that the people she’s been with often weren’t capable of giving the same kind of love back.
“It’s not that I’m not lovable — it’s that they’re not capable. They can’t love. They don’t have it in them,” she explained.
Lopez said her past partners often tried to show love through material things — houses, rings, and marriage — but emotionally, it was never enough.
“They gave me what they had. Every time. But it was this much,” she said.
The multi-award-winning star added that part of the problem was her own lack of self-love.
“They didn’t love me. They didn’t know me. And I didn’t love myself,” she added.
