Abdulmumuni Jibrin
Mr Abdulmumuni Jibrin , the Director-General of Tinubu Support Group, a coalition of groups working to actualize the presidential ambition of former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Bola Tinubu, has resigned from his position and also resigned his membership of the ruling APC.
Jibrin who announced the decision on his verified official Facebook page on Saturday, said he had done his best for the APC and was time to move on.
The three-time Member of the House of Representives from Kano State, added that he was leaving the APC for another political party, which he would announce within the next 24 hours.
A very vocal and controversial ex-House of Representives Member, Jibrin was instrumental to the emergence of Yakubu Dogara and Femi Gbajabiamila as Speakers.
Earlier this year, in his capacity as the Tinubu Support Group’s DG, Jibrin had organised a massive conference in Abuja where more than 2000 support groups came together to form a single alliance to work for the actualization of Tinubu’s presidential bid.
