The Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, has removed some incorporation listed companies from its data base.
The commission made this known in a notice it posted on its official X handle.
According to CAC, the 247 listed companies have not been duly registered as limited liability companies.

It explained that the affected companies’ registration certificate numbers that are allegedly ascribed to them have not been assigned to anyone.

The Commission therefore urged the general public to disregard any claim to the companies’ existence as legal persons.
