The white wedding of Nigerian music star, Davido, to his wife, Chioma, cost nearly 10 billion naira altogether.
It would be recalled that the celebrity couple tied the nuptials in a lavish ceremony, in Miami, U.S., over the weekend.
According to multiple news outlets and Davido himself, the estimated cost of the white wedding was 3.7 million dollars (about six billion naira).
Davido had reportedly stated that they spent the amount in cash on the preparations alone.
The music icon also purchased a stunning 10-carat GIA-certified F-color oval diamond ring valued at 950,000 dollars (1.5 billion naira) for Chioma.
Sources familiar with the expenses say the luxurious piece, is certified by the Gemological Institute of America.
“Chioma Adeleke’s 10-carat GIA-certified diamond wedding ring is worth ₦1.5 billion.
“The wedding ring is internally flawless and valued at an estimated $950,000 (about ₦1.5 billion).
“It has drawn attention for its exceptional clarity, colour grade, and jaw-dropping price,” the credible source disclosed.
