Ethiopia signs $2.5bn urea fertilizer plant with Dangote

Ethiopia has signed a 2.5 billion dollar deal with Nigeria’s Dangote Group to build a urea fertilizer plant.

The project will make Ethiopia one of the world’s biggest fertilizer producers.

Once completed, the plant is expected to produce up to 3 million metric tons each year.
