Solomon Adedokun, a young, brilliant Nigerian lawyer, who bagged first class (LLB Hons) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, and graduated as overall best law student, as well as first-class at the Nigerian Law School, has gained admission into the prestigious University of Oxford, United Kingdom to study for his master’s degree.
Adedokun, now a barrister and solicitor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, will be studying for a masters of science degree in Law and Finance at Oxford University.
The young electric brain, who made this known on his social media platforms, says he is entering the new phase at Oxford with a refreshed sense of curiosity similar to that of a child as he finds the combination of law and finance very fascinatin
He expressed his gratitude to everyone who sponsored him and contributed to his success while thanking them for making it possible.
He said: ”Yesterday, I matriculated at the University of Oxford for the MSc in Law and Finance programme.
“There are exciting things at the intersection of law and finance, and I enter this phase with rejuvenated childlike wonder.”
Created in 1962, first as the University of Ife (nicknamed Great Ife) and one of Nigeria’s first generation universities, was rechristened as the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) after one of Nigeria’s founding fathers 25 years later.
