British fisherman Jeremy Wade, 52, came across Goliath the tiger fish during a fishing expedition down the Congo River in Africa.
Goliath is considered one of the most fearsome freshwater fishes in the world.
It is much larger and more deadly than the Piranha.
The giant fish has 32 teeth that are similar in size to those of a great white shark.
It is known to have attacked humans and crocodiles.
A group of fishermen managed to catch it in a very difficult to reach habitat.
Wade said he took extra care when grabbing this specimen.
“Goliath weighs over 100 pounds and is 5 feet long.
“This fish is a giant piranha.
“It’s quite a beast.
“The teeth are very sharp and the same length as a great white shark,” Wade said.
