One soldier and two other civilians have been killed by some gunmen suspected to be terrorists during an attack on Rikwe-Chongu village of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Major Ishaku Takwa, the spokesman for the Special Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH),, disclosed this to newsmen in Jos on Saturday.
Takwa said that troops were immediately deployed to the community to restore order.

“There was a night attack in Rikwe-Chongu village, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, on April 28.
“The troops deployed to the community repelled the attack and in the process, OPSH lost a soldier.
“Two civilians died during the attack as well,” he said.
