The late Christabel Don

A young woman in Benue State, Christabel Don, has allegedly ended her life after her fiancé cancelled their wedding.
The deceased’s friend, Vivian Idoko, disclosed that the wedding ceremony was already scheduled to hold shortly before it was abruptly called off by her husband to be under circumstances still unclear.
Sources said that Christabel was deeply upset by the development and in the days leading to her death.
It was gathered that she subsequently opted to take her own life.
The late Christabel was later found unresponsive in her apartment and then rushed to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead shortly by doctors.
Her family and immediate community have been thrown into deep mourning following the tragedy.
Although the police command in Benue had yet to officially react to the incident, it was gathered that investigations into the incident had discreetly begun.
