Shop owner compels arrested alcohol thieves to drink it all
Some thieves who broke into a shop in South Africa and stole cartons of beer but later arrested were ordered by the owner of the shop to drink the entire alcohol drinks as punishment.
This is contained in a viral video posted on Wednesday by a South African journalist, Velani Ludidi.
It shows the moment the alcohol thieves were busy drinking from the liquor bottles in compliance with the shop owner’s directive.
He explained that when the thieves were caught a day after, the owner of the shop forced them to drink the alcoholic drinks as their punishment.
According to Ludidi, the shop owner insisted that they would face jungle justice if they failed to finish the stolen drinks.
The post reads: “Thieves broke in and stole alcohol worth 14k.
“They were caught a day later with the alcohol.
“The owner said they must drink it all in one go or face umphakathi.
“The thieves are struggling.“
