Mohammad Kazaure, a former member of the House of Representatives, has made a stunning revelation that’s causing quite a stir across Nigeria.
Kazaure asserts that President Bola Tinubu personally contacted him before taking office.
Gudaje claimed that he handed over a comprehensive investigative report detailing the alleged theft of over ₦100 trillion (around $113 billion) that was perpetrated during the Buhari administration.
“I provided him with the complete documents, including the names of those who stole and divided over ₦100 trillion among themselves,” he said.
According to him, he faced life-threatening situations twice, including surviving assassination attempts tied to the investigation.
The former lawmaker said he had to leave Nigeria instead of running for re-election in 2023.
He said that he urged Tinubu to utilise the document to reclaim the funds and develop Nigeria.
“With this, you won’t need to borrow for the next 8 years,” he said
Kazaure claimed that President Tinubu trashed the report in the bin.
He said the president disregarded the thorough findings and instead opted to associate with the same individuals accused of looting during Buhari’s time.
“Now he’s borrowing from every direction while shielding those who have stolen our future,” he further said.
The revelation has ignited outrage online, with many calling for accountability from the presidency and demanding transparency.
