Burkina Faso military leader Capt. Ibrahim Traore has reportedly contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin, seeking urgent military assistance as unrest grows in the nation.
According to sources, Putin has committed to dispatching additional weapons and elite soldiers to help protect the Burkinabé people.
