Traore turns to Putin for security after incessant assassination attempts

Burkina Faso military leader Capt. Ibrahim Traore has reportedly contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin, seeking urgent military assistance as unrest grows in the nation.

According to sources, Putin has committed to dispatching additional weapons and elite soldiers to help protect the Burkinabé people.

The decision could significantly alter the power dynamics in the region.

“I will fight until my people are truly free,” Traore declared, resolutely opposing foreign interference and the chaos in the region.
