The United States Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, has said that the U.S. is actively preparing to attack and kill Islamic terrorists who have been killing Christians in Nigeria.
Hegseth posted on X on Sunday that the U.S. Department of War was already preparing for action if the Nigerian government failed to protect Christians.
His reaction follows President Donald Trump’s warning that the U.S. would take action to stop the endless genocidal killing of Christians in Nigeria by Islamic terrorists over the past decades if the Federal Government failed to stop the Christian massacre.
“The Killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria and anywhere must end immediately.
”The Department of War is preparing for action.
“It is either the Nigerian Government protects Christians, or we will Kill the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” he stated.
Trump had earlier warned that the United States would “prepare for possible action” against Nigeria if the massacre continued unabated.
He also threatened to halt all aid and assistance to Nigeria if President Bola Tinubu’s administration failed to end the persecution and killing of Christians.
L-R: Tinubu, Trump.
“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.
“I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians,” Trump had declared.
