Benue girl breaks records, emerges Unical best graduating medical student
Miss Grace Amune Ugboh, from Benue State, has emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Calabar, Cross River State, breaking and setting multiple records.
Ugboh achieved the rare feat during the recently conducted Physicians Oathtaking Ceremony (Sponsio Academica) held in the university.
Periscope International reports that the beautiful and brilliant young lady won prizes for almost every category for her exceptional performance all through her time in Medical School.
She was the Best Graduating Student, Department of Pharmacology; Best Graduating Student, Department of Laboratory Medicine; Overall Best Graduating Student in Part II MB.BCH examination; Best Graduating Student, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Miss Ugboh also emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Student in Part III MB.BCH examination; and made Distinctions in Physiology, Pharmacology and Family Medicine.
The Idoma native also won the Bassey Kubiangha Prize for the Overall Best Graduating Student, as well as the Provost prize for Overall Best Graduating Student, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Department of Medicine and Surgery.
Furthermore, she won the Prof Imaobong Ekanem’s Prize for Overall Best Graduating Student, Department of Laboratory Medicine and also won the ED’B ATTAH’S Prize in Pathology for Best Graduating Student in the Department of Pathology.
