President Bola Tinubu has received Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe and the Minister of Police Affairs, Sen. Ibrahim Gaidam, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday in Damaturu.
He said the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration on security as discussions centred on enhancing security to sustain ongoing development initiatives of the Yobe Government.
He added that the meeting also aimed at securing additional Federal Government support to boost infrastructural development in the state.
According to him, President Tinubu commended Buni and Gaidam for their commitment to the development of the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting underscores efforts to deepen cooperation between the Federal and Yobe Governments. (NAN)
